TEXAS BLUEBONNETS

Post last updated: October 3rd, 2018

A friend of mine forwarded some photographs her son had taken in Texas, where he lives, and I got permission to share this one with you.  Apparently, it is very common to see old cars sitting out in the Texas fields. This one just happens to be surrounded by blooms of Bluebonnet and Indian Paintbrush.

  1. I remember the year we visited Dallas and drove around to see all the bluebonnets in bloom. Hillsides along the freeways. Got out and took a picture of me sitting in the middle of them. Didn’t see any cars or trucks sitting there tho.

      1. Ain’t that the truth! Gearing up for spring in CO, I tend to get over-zealous and think I can grow anything.
