    1. Meta – It’s not that far from me but I seldom go. Today it was part of a luncheon get-together with a friend who had a season pass + guest pass. We started out at 9:45 at The Cummer and then had lunch at Al’s Pizza (their fried chicken salad is delish). We also hopped the river for a quick trip to Reddi-Arts.

      1. They had a beautiful rose there called Quietness. It was a beautiful pink and I fell in love with it. I found a website and ordered one. It is doing well, but not as well as the one I saw there.

        1. Did you try to replicate the environment? Full sun or filtered shade? The Cummer probably has professional gardeners which would mean it gets regular fertilizing. I seem to FORGET fertilizing until something doesn’t look so good.

  1. I’ve enjoyed many hours at the Cummer and yet I could look at the garden pictures again and again. They are forever changing and always beautiful!!

    1. Becky — This is my coneflower year so, of course, I couldn’t help but wonder why they had no coneflowers. It would appear this was their zinnia year and I must confess next year will be my zinnia year, too, because of following The Seed Exchange on Facebook. They also had two colors of Wishbone Flower. I have the dark purple this year and it has bloomed all season (in a pot). Well worth the money I spent on it.

    1. Dena – You had no excuse, either! They always had one night a week that you could get in free. Think it was Tuesday. Wish I had gotten there a week earlier for the antique car show. It was closed but we could see some of them thru the glass door.
